I installed Sarge today. The catalyst for the switch from woody was a hack attack and installation of the OSF worm. The solution for that is a backup and wipe of the drive. :-(
The install went pretty smooth, and I'm at the point where I'm addng the dev packages (gcc, etc.).
In your book and subsequent word doc which outline how to install Debian, you mention apt-getting the telnetd package. A tip is to replace that with "apt-get ssh" to install the various ssh packages. It's much more secure than telnet and FTP. Don't forget the security updates and to use SSH 2!!!
